Prevention & reintegration

Prevent absence, recover with care

For the employee who is close to burning out, or who has to build back up after time off. A focused programme at a pace the person can handle, ideally on the advice of the company doctor and embedded in your absence policy.

Personal coaching focused on prevention and reintegration

A focused programme for looming absence or reintegration, in consultation with the company doctor and embedded in your absence policy.

Recovery rarely happens on its own

Overstrain seldom comes from one cause alone, and rest is seldom the whole answer. We teach the body to feel again and build energy up step by step, at a pace the employee can handle.

Where the complaint is mainly physical, we work alongside physiotherapy under the same roof. Where the brake sits in tension and worrying, burnout and stress fits better. We explained why movement helps here in why movement helps with burnout.

Well founded, not open ended

This programme connects to the duty of care an employer carries. There is a goal, a pace and an end point, and we report what is needed to account for the investment.

If capacity lags behind, we move across to injury recovery or adjust the rhythm. Sleep is often the first dial we turn; we wrote about that in sleep and recovery.

A real example from our practice

"An employee was outrunning himself on every front. When his body presented the bill, he thought rest would be enough. We taught him to feel again, in small steps. Not to be back sooner, but to keep it up this time."

Programme

Reflection, rhythm and result

Step 1: Reflection

Together with the employee and, where possible, the company doctor we map out the load.

Step 2: Rhythm

We build capacity up step by step, at a pace that suits the recovery.

Step 3: Result

A durable base, so the complaint or the overload stays away.

Health policy

Part of your absence policy

The strongest programme takes shape in consultation with the company doctor or occupational health service, embedded in your prevention and absence policy. That way it fits the policy you already have.

What employers and company doctors ask us most often.

Gladly. Advice from the company doctor makes the programme stronger and easier to account for. We agree the goal, the pace and the reporting with them.

As soon as the reason is clear. We match the goal, pace and duration to the situation of the employee and then schedule the first sessions.

Yes. De Werf is based in The Hague and works with employees across the wider Haaglanden region. Training takes place in the studio, with the facilities and the calm that recovery asks for.
