Why this statement?

We consider your privacy just as important as your financial balance – and under the law (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), we are obliged to clearly explain to you what we do with your data. (ondernemersplein.overheid.nl)

What data we collect and why

Depending on when you contact us, we may collect the following (categories of) personal data: Name, email address, telephone number – for example, if you request a no-obligation initial consultation. In addition, we may collect information you provide in a contact form: purpose of training/workshop (personal coaching, group training, online programme, etc.). Where relevant, we may take notes on your preferences or goals so that we can properly plan your path to balance.

Why we need this

  • To be able to contact you.
  • To discuss which service you would like (intake, training, coaching, etc.).
  • To tailor your support to your needs – because, yes, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

This processing is based on at least one legal basis: the performance of a (prospective) contract / your consent. (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl)

What we do with your data (and who we share it with)

  • We use your data to contact you and schedule appointments.
  • We do not share your data with ‘outsiders’ or external parties – unless it is necessary for the provision of our services (e.g. invoicing, administration). In such cases, we select processors who also comply with the GDPR.
  • We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

Retention period

We do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose of contacting you or providing our services. If we no longer require your data (for example, following the completion of an intake/training session and the expiry of the statutory retention period), the data will be deleted or anonymised.

Cookies & website visitors

Our site may use cookies or similar technologies to ensure the website functions properly and to keep your experience smooth. If we use non-essential cookies (for example, for analytics), we will ask for your consent via a clear banner. (cookieinformation.com)

Your privacy rights – what can you do?

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights – and yes, we’re happy to comply:

  • To view the personal data we hold about you.
  • To correct or supplement inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten") – provided this does not conflict with any legal retention obligations.
  • Restriction of processing or objecting to the use of your data.
  • Data portability: requesting your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdrawing consent, if you have given it for purposes such as contact or a newsletter.

Would you like to exercise any of these rights? Please email ian@werf.fit or call +31 6 81 91 14 33 – and we will take care of it.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. These include secure storage, restricted access to data and up-to-date security for our systems.

Changes

We may update this privacy statement from time to time – for example, if we offer new services or change our processes. We will communicate any changes via the website.

In short: your data, our concern

We only use your data where necessary, we do not share it unnecessarily, we do not store it indefinitely, and you always remain in control. In short: at De Werf, we don’t just build muscle and balance, we also build your trust.

Get fit. Stay balanced. Stay private.
